NGC 918 ,MBM8,MBM7 (Aries).jpg - NGC 918, MBM 8,MBM 7 (Aries) * September-October 2019* CFF 135mm / f/6.7, 930mm) * ASA DDM85 mount * Moravian G3 16200 EC CCD * Baader LRGB filter set * L: 700 minutes R: 480m G:360m B:510m * NGC 918 is a spiral galaxy in constellation Aries, about 60 million light years of distance, embedded in clouds of IFN galactic cirrus ( MBM 8 surrounding the galaxy,MBM 7 to the right end side) . These clouds are part of our own Milky Way, hanging just hundreds of light-years above our galactic plane, and reflect weakly the starlight of our Milky Way.Thanks to Mr. Sakib Rasool for the imaging suggestion.
